There is no doubt that DHNE - MBNR should be doubled at the earliest. What port you're talking about here ?

SBC-DMM - KLU-GTL-RC-KSN-DKC-SC route will be just 5 kms longer than SBC-DMM - KLU-GY-PDL- DHNE-SC route.

is GTL a bottleneck ? Can you explain ?

KSK express acts as a inter-city between YPR-HPT and overnight connection between UBL to YPR. You too can check the figures by yourselves.

APSK was extended from SC to TPTY in united AP to provide direct connectivity from MBNR, KRNT & TPTY with Delhi.

Hopefully, DHNE - MBNR doubling is started at the earliest and long distance trains are introduced in RC-GWD & KSN-DKC - KCG sections

How much time a train takes to cross GTL, Take for example amaravati. Just like that they used to take more than 30 minutes or so for LC change. Things are very much slow when compared to other busy stations

Again, I am not denying the ONT between YPR-HPT but you lost a good timing train between YPR-KCG which is lucrative route

Similarly, why can't they start a train between MYS to NZM via BAY/HPT instead of ruining one of the best trains.

I don't know on what basis you're saying that things are very much slow when compared to other busy stations. GTL has efficient staff to handle loco changes

YPR-NZM acts as an intercity express between YPR-HPT and NZM-YPR acts as over-night between UBL-YPR

KSK was diverted via UBL to compensate the link express which was running between UBL-NZM along with Goa express)

There are other exclusive trains running between YPR-KCG

As I said, SK trains are introduced to cater to the respective state and link with national capital Delhi

Soon, the by-pass line in GTL is expected to be completed :

Bro, my native is near GTL/BAY and I have been traveling via GTL since MG era and this is my opinion on GTL loco change timings

If ICE is needed then they could have introduced a train between YPR-HPT/UBL.
There are 2 reasons why I am against diverting KSK
1.

Good overnight timings between YPR-KCG 10pm dep, and 8 am arrival. I don't know any train which has such aggressive timings and convenient timings for IT ppl
2. End to end timings got inflated . I guess KSK via DMM was shortest route train between state capital to National capital. There should be one train at least for every state with short distance. YOu can always run multiple trains in different routes to cover other parts of state

For compensating few coaches from UBL slip, you can't ruin entire train

If your native is near GTL/BAY, why are you vouching for KRNT-VSKP train instead of GTL-VSKP train ? Just kidding ЁЯШКЁЯШВЁЯШВ

LC doesn't require much time but the complex layout of GTL station is the matter of concern. Since you know GTL from MG era , I hope you know very well how old building was situated between BG and MG lines. After GC, all lines / PFS have not been linked. Hopefully with linking of all lines as part of GNT-GTL doubling project and with completion of by-pass line connecting

Wadi-GNT lines in GTL outer, things will happen smoothly.

Now that the cabinet has approved establishing SCoR zone with Vizag as HQ, the focus should be on bringing DHNE-KRNT and DMM-SSPN-HUP routes into its fold ( GTL division ) and introducing more trains benefiting AP.

Till now, most trains that have been introduced are HYD centric.

Can I know which is your native place ?

Diversion of KSK train via UBL was a decision taken by RB and there is no point in discussing / cribbing about it anymore ( whether we like it or not )

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
