For a Vande Bharat train[or for that fact a successful Shatabdi], one needs not only two main terminal points, but important intermediate points as well which will give patronage. LKO - BSB isn't possible simply because it lacks any important city en route and would have a short rake if introduced. GKP - PPTA suffers from the safe issue. However, LJN - PPTA could be tried out. NDLS - GKP can't be done in a single day with the current infrastructure. As for BPL LKO, I think IR should first introduce a normal ICE first and then test the demand for a VB.
