I feel Govt will consider Mr Scindia proposal carefully because he is important person for them in Centre as well as in Madhya Pradesh scenario.
At the most it will start between Jhansi to Newdelhi so UP ,MP both will be happy

Moreover some people may not find a weekly train as feasible as they need to travel on another day. Weekly is for those places where there are trains with more frequency and runs overloaded all the days of run, there a weekly helps.
