The line is proposed by Singareni Coal fields for coal transportation in 2014 approx and agreed to contribute 90% of the cost. As the line is parallel to proposed BDCR to KVR it may get extended In future and IR has written letters to TG and AP about land acquisition and sharing of cost but they are is no reply or intrest from both states. IR is not decided whether to take up BDCR to Satuppali to KVR fully or just upto Satuppali for SCL. Before Satuppali there is a jn penuballi from where line s proposed to Kondapalli. At present KTP gets coal from SCL.
