This query haunted me since long as if Beypore GD/Ord/Mail was through train from MAS-Beypore or a combination of Two "Through Train" which towed "Through Coach" of MAS-Beypore. I was sure this to be the later one but with no evidence it holds no ground to speak about.
Now in 1880 Podanur-Beypore Mail was abolished as Local train sufficient for that Section, which ensures two thing: 1. Beypore Mail terminates CBE (not in start but later on) 2. & then was actually MAS-Coimbatore+Podanur-Beypore Mail whose Podanur-Beypore portion was abolished (revived past 1907 as Podanur-MAQ 12 Mail)!!
There's...
more... one thing for sure: MAS-CBE Mail/Blue Mountain/Nilgiri has been consistent since MAS-Beypore Line commissioned. I will wait for any relevant information, failing which Inaugural of Mangalore Mail will be kept blank (& will updated past comparison with 13 Mail, 13 Malabar, MAS-Cochin Exp (past 1907). Nilgiri Blue Mountain deserves 12 May 1862 undoubtedly!!
PS: This abolish made no impact on running of SBC-MAS (Mail) & SBC-CBE (Island) as MAS-CBE Portion was intact.
