So finally Dakhineswar is connected by Metro Service. Dakhineswar and Baranagar are now the newest stations of North - South Line of Kolkata Metro. The first Metro from Dakhineswar was flagged off virtually by our Prime Minister - Shri Narendra Modi. Commerical Services will commence from 23/02/2021. First Metro from 7 AM. Here are some shots from today's Inauguration. I had to cut short my TATA trip because of this function. ЁЯЩП

Now Dakshineswar becomes one point. Other point being Kavi Subhash (New Garia). Kavi Subhash to Airport work is on. First extension from Kavi Subhash will be till Ruby General - RB Connector.
