Some images from this train I travelled in recently. There is significant checking at LJN station and even entries are made in register for incoming passengers. As expected at Lucknow, there is always atleast one passenger that confuses b/w LKO & LJN and this time was no exception. A person was trying to enter LJN while his train was from LKO. The platforms were deserted and many coaches hardly had any pax at all. Our train was stopped for 20 minutes after Jarwal Road and boy, there was nearly a kilometre long line on the road(some kind of highway it is) next to the level crossing. Apparently, we were overtaken by GKP bound Intercity that goes via Loop line and we again overtook it at Gonda Kaccheri. I can't verify this because a co passenger standing at the other door told me this and I didn't see the OT myself. The...

The AC coaches filled to the brim
Train standing at Gonda station. Couple of folks mistook it for the loop line Intercity.
Also, if there are empty seats in a higher class of accomodation available (in this case, CC), aren't passengers supposed to be automatically upgraded? It was not done in this case.
