Suri~ 7882 blog postsPresently the Rajdhanis, the Durontos, the AC express trains and all other ordinary LHB express trains are having exactly the same red color liveries. What do you feel does this thing makes degradation to the authenticity and class of Rajdhani?

I think that duronto color vinyl is not being procured by IR now as Duronto is now a past category of trains like Garib rath, Janshatabdi trains. That's why they now provide normal red color coaches to the duronto trains. Better would be if IR scrap the Duronto category itself and convert all present Durontos into Rajdhani/Deluxe AC SF category. Already the original Non-stop connectivity idea is irrelevant as all the durontos are have now got scheduled en-route halts.
We have now new shade of Tejas.

They slowely diminished previous categories but introduced new ones. This means they also want different categories. This shows political-based behavior. The fact that there should be a uniqueness to Rajdhani, Duronto is that if something is introduced and is successful, it should be maintained for that deserving cost. Keeping it anyhow is the unprofessional thing for railways. It's like you cannot be consistent with what you promised. And yes of course, when people pay more they should get that thing.
