RPM WAP7 30679 and ED WAP7 37180 proudly strike a pose after completing their respective duties. 30679 brought 12658 KSR Bengaluru Chennai Mail 16 minutes before time while 37180 was in charge of 22652 Palakkad Chennai Central Superfast Express.

Thank you so much. :) This is the second time I am capturing ED and RPM together. It was an unexpected catch. I wanted to take a pic of 12658's loco as I could not check it as SBC as the rake was shunted very late. So, when I was on my way out at MAS I was about to take a pic when I found this ED P7 leading 22652.
Im observing ED WAP-7s are being given for trains only in MAS-JTJ/SBC/MYS section. Its rare to spot with ed p7s in MS MDU section and in TVC division any reason ?
ED WAP7s are also common in MAS-CBE/TVC/MAQ sections and also in TVC-MAQ and TPJ-ED section. Even TEN BSP gets ED WAP7. Kerala gets ED WAP7. CBE trains also get ED WAP7. It is rare only in MS-MDU/TN section. I have seen even MAS MDU Duronto with 30554 once. No specific reason as such. If more locos are allotted to ED, then more of them would be seen in entire SR.
