I don't think the no of trains is not directly related to profit or loss of a zone. SWR, NFR and NWR has as low as 350 trains but still have came out to be loss making zones. While SER has as many as 600 trains but still has came out to be profit making zone. So it's not necessary that if a zone has low no of trains then it must be profit making one and if a zone has high no of train, then it will be a loss making one just like u have told for SCoR. Low area under jurisdiction is a major reason. All the small zones like SWR, NWR, ER, NER are loss making zone while big zones like SCR, NCR are profit making zone. Only exception is SECR which has low area of jurisdiction still has high revenue because of heavy metal ore deposits
