Today Modi 2.0 Government laid its first Finance Budget on the table of Lok Sabha. Rail Budget was no where mentioned in the glance.
Railfans are criticising that Modi Government is against providing facilities in Rail World. No introduction of new trains, no new projects, no infrastructure projects, new jobs nothing.
But I would like to keep my views on this point. We should keep in mind that why did Modi Government 1 dismissed rail budget? Simply because it was used by various

political parties for their own appleasement. Various Parties like TMC, RJD, And JDU used the budget as political weapon to gather their votes. This is now ended by The current government.
Earlier their was very much hooliganism while introduction of rail budget because some or the other member always stayed unhappy that their constituency got nothing and everything is given to one particular state. But now as ministry has control over rail department they are equally providing facilities to every state rather only limited upto Bengal and Bihar.
In last 20 years we have seen various Rail ministers namely-
1.Piyush Goyal
2.Suresh Prabhu
3.Sadananda Gowda
4.Mallikarujn Khade
5.CP Joshi
6.Pawan Kumar Bansal
7.Mukul Roy
8.Dinesh Trivedi
9.Mamta Banerjee
8.Lal Prasad Yadav
9.Nitish Kumar
10.Ram Naik
11. Ram Vilas Paswan

Suresh Prabhu, Followed by Dinesh Trivedi, Piyush Goyal, Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav. Rest were hopeless some major contributions of above mentioned RM-

1.Suresh Prabhu- Brought rail services online specially on twitter. The monkey grabbing demands were stopped after termination of Rail budget under his reign, Wifi facilities and station redevelopment with T18 concept was started in his reign.
2.Dinesh Trivedi- Though he was RM for very short while but i still remember his speech in which he mentioned that he is the only RM existing till now who talked to almost all 543 members LS and tried to fulfill their demands in one way or the other.
3.Piyush Goyal- We all criticise Piyush Goyal for not being a good Ministry handler by not running new trains, but remember under his reign railway electrification is completly in peak and stations are modernising with better facilities.
4. Lal Prasad Yadav- The person who can be credited for introducing traditional methods to uplifting rail economy eg- introduction of eco friendly kullads, Trains like SK, GB were introduced under his reign. It is said to be the golden era of IR.
5.Nitish Kumar- Credited for credited various new zones for better management. Online charting and booking facilities were expanded under his reign.

Worst Performer- Mamta Banerjee- Probably the only minister who used Rail Ministry for betterment of Bengal I still remember News Papers headlines- "सब कुछ वाया बंगाल, बाकी सबकी आँखें लाल", " रेवड़ी की तरह बांटी ट्रेन" Inspite of knowing the trains cant be runned because of lack of resources she runned end to end non stop trains like duronto. Which were flop under intermediate stops were introduced. She replaced Kullad with disposable cups and probably the only minister who never sat in train and used planes to fly to bengal the only minister at that time who had highest bill of flying to their home state, she never even visited the rail accident site.

So, in conclusion I would like to say please dont make your opinion of budget that current government is not working on railways. by simply judging on introduction of new trains and projects. Rather we should wait for the pink book and also the general idea made by government to how to modern our railways it can be coined by various steps like "World Class and Adarsh modelling of Stations", " Introduction of Biotoilets", "Electrification and gauge conversion", " High speed rails like Gatimaan, T18, T20 and Bullet Trains, "Freight Corridor development", introduction of modern trains like Double Decker, Antyodaya, DDU coaches, Tejas and Gatimaan.

should i have mentioned all contributions making it a much more larger article to read and skipped by user for making it boring? Comment section is better to add the left points and have a healthy debate and discussion on each and every RM's contribution.

Sir you didn't mentioned UP.
You categorically said that Lalu Yadav played trains from each district of Bihar
That's why i raised my query
It is very common to bash Bihar on fake ground like they are Punch Bag of Nation.
For

your info
DBG has just ONE Daily to Mumbai which was extended from BSB when RV Paswan was MR
Latter DBG/RXL/JYG got all GN class train but not daily
Patna already had one very old daily
Nitish added a SF
Then came some more non daily and now HS from Patna went SHC as it was flop train
Awadh was extended from GKP
CPR got some trains like Godan but it serves more UP as CPR is just on Border
BGP has very very old train to Mumbai which converted as SF
Now you tell me how many districts left and how many lalu gave to Bihar
Regarding Delhi i can give similar examples.
And Bihar/UP/Bangal trains are no exclusively reserved for them it serves whole path.
yet all know these states trains run over crowded with least facility and number.
