I have recently asked two of my friends about their LHB journey with lot of excitement and the feedback from them is as follows:
1) This guy traveled in 2S and said the journey was normal but said it was sweating inside and no air movement at all and all other things are similar to normal ICF coach.
2) This time 3 of my friends traveled in the sleeper in 18112 YPR-TATA and they said again there was no air movement and it was sweating. The fans were working but not giving any

air especially Upper and side upper berths.
I personally traveled many times in 3AC many times and felt it was better than ICF 3AC due to big windows and new interiors, but doesn't felt much difference in the ride.
Is there any issue with non-ac LHB coaches? Did anyone experienced the same?
Are ICF non-ac coaches are comfortable than LHB non-ac coaches?

The wide windows which are of sliding type tend to let in more light and hot air during daytime.
.
2s coaches, you don't notice it, plus you get compensated with a good view. The Emergency window seats have no grill, and they can be really awesome during good weather.
.
But

in Sleeper class you will feel the heat since there's partition between compartments, eventually the hot air rises up and accumulates at the top. Upper berth travel can leave you in a semi-cooked state if you're tired & try to nap for a hour or two. In the evening, you get to experience more of the cool breeze as a compensation.

LHB 2S coaches are slightly more improved in my opinion, they have reclining chairs and get somewhat more space after doing away with the center exits.
.
Sleeper coaches, the wide-window types has this issue, but otherwise not too different from ICF coaches

LHB is more stable and comfortable than ICF at higher speeds, while low-speed ride and start/stop is poorer with lots of jerks like EMUs.
Air-conditioned LHB coaches are vastly improved over ICF coaches: better insulated and simpler but higher functionality.

Wide window CHAIR car coaches have same problem....air do not enter fully and circulate ...very bad in summer season, the problem is face daily by passengers of Tata Steel exp..many complaints already submitted to SER. The toilets of these coaches very poor ventilation and steel body gets fully heated in summers you will a heart attack if you stay in washrooms for 5 to 10 mins.
Same with wide window sleepers, the main problems is the window do not open fully because of sliding mechanism as a result half of the air only enters the coach and that too do not circulate and it becomes too hot in summers specially for upper and side uppsr berth you will

boil. In other berths also very hot..
View wise you maybe correct but travelling is very difficult. This is purely a design defect of ICF. To enter and circulate the air in the coaches window must open fully like in the old lhb or ICF coaches and also of RCF coaches.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
