Bypassing NCJ opinion poll:
As 16191/2 extended and 22657/8 came as tri weekly to Nagercoil, Do u think it is right time to divert 16723/4 Ananthapuri via Nagercoil town i.e byepassing JN.? Also since it is fastest route for tiruvandrum to chennai do u think it should be upgraded to SF to cater E2E people better?
Advantages of Diversion:
1. Loco reversal avoided...

which saves 30 minutes of run time.
2. As NJT halt will be given as compensation, nagercoil city anyhow not miss any connection
3. it free PF at NCJ where one more train can be accomadated.
Advantages of upgrading to SF:
1. it will be the second fastest train between tiruvandrum and chennai (apart from AC SF)
2. able to compete bus and have run time 15 hrs for QLN MS which is comparable to MAS TVC Mail for QLN and 1 hr faster for MS TVC than mail(i.e 13 hrs 45 mins).
Disadvantages:
1. NCJ will miss one train
