Thus CAPE - PDY Express can be easily converted to a Tri - Weekly Express....it would enhance rail facilities particularly in APK
I think with the additional coaches they have notified for this, they are probably doing this change in run for the sake of rake standardization (along with VM-PRR/PDY-MAQ trains). For this train to really pick up patronage, they must revisit the present route and the timings. This train has few takers when you compare it with CAPE-RMM SF that runs fully occupied.
So VM - KGP / PRR Expresses and MAQ - PDY Expresses ( via TPJ ) / ( via SALEM ) and CAPE - PDY Express will be in RSA ???? I think still there would be room for change in schedule and increasing frequency
