Wanted to share a write up regarding the circular EMU
It was 21st of April. Around 8pm the circular from SR came regarding circular trains. It said that two circular trains will be introduced from the day later (22nd Apr). From then I was planning to make a journey in the whole route starting from Chennai beach end ending up there in just 1 train. But the problem was tickets. Yes!!! You can't buy a ticket with source and destination being the same in IR. Discussions were going on with my friends on various ways so that I can avoid a ticket less travel. When contacted UTS helpline they said the option for MSB-CJ via AJJ is not introduced and it will

be done soon. So finally bought 2 tickets MSB-AJJ and MSB-CJ(return). However it was a ticket less travel from AJJ-CJ.
On 22nd April the day started with meeting the first circular EMU which left MSB at 0930 hrs. The Medha EMU started its journey to AJJ via CJ and reaching back to MSB . I have planned to take the MEMU which left MSB at 1015 hrs. This was the first train ЁЯЪЖ to be announced as circular train while the former was marked as AJJ via CJ.
Reporters from various media were also present to shoot the train leaving station. The train was empty till perambur and I was able to hear someone saying that my train will not go to ambattur because it was marked as MSB while it actually goesЁЯШВЁЯШВЁЯШВ. Finally we reached AJJ and various railway officials were present to greet and forward us through the detour line.
LP and the gaurd were greeted and we proceeded through the detour line.Could see lot of curves while we were the first to cross the kallar River bridge.Thought that the first Medha would have already crossed but it was late and waited for us at TMLP because it is a single line. We reached CJ and huge people gathered to greet us and also the regular crowd to travel to Chennai. After that it is a asusual journey to Chennai and finally reached at 1730 while the Medha EMU reached 45 minutes later. So it was a wonderful day with a long pending demand of ppl of Kanchipuram, ajj getting fulfilled to reach their destinations in a short route

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
