Lets hope that they will complete doubling upto harihar as commited by march. Do you know when they are targeting harihar to hubli. Because it is very lengthy line ?

Sorry i dont know much about that section works but now they are targeting upto Harihar from Tolahunse which is 23km by Jan 2019 but rest of stretch from Harihar-hubli is not in this years target list may be it will be taken in next years targets list.

Thanks for lot of answers for my questions. I was just curious about doubling and electrification. Since in bangalore i see all chennai and howrah bound trains are fully electric, I am always dreaming when i will be able to travel to bijapur with fully electric loco within 12 hours.
Lets hope one day will come when my dream will come true. :)

Ha ha Okay so you want to travel in Electric from Bengaluru to Bijapur within 12hours? Hope your dream come true one fine day. But still we didnt see any Electrification signs after Chikkabanavar towards hubli. They should start it now as upto Tumkuru already they have double track but i think they waiting for complete double track upto Harihar as still Tumkuru-kardi is not compelted
