is also a small shop just outside the railway station premises where branded snacks (like cake, chips), potable water and beverages (soft drinks) are available. The shop is open till late night (observed by myself).

There is a waiting hall after you enter through the entrance gate.

The station has 2 platforms, with platform 1 being the main platform. Platform 2 is in use only when platform 1 is occupied.

Platform 1 can be accessed straight from the waiting hall. Most trains halt at platform 1, and platform 2 looks more like a secluded place. Drinking Water Taps are available on platform 1 (but consume at your own risk).

Platform 2 is connected to platform 1 through a Foot Over-Bridge (which can be accessed after moving little forward after turning right after entering platform 1).

The Station Master's Room is on the left side after moving a little bit forward after turning left after entering platform 1. Any query about an arriving train is entertained over here (again from my own experience).

The lighting on the platform is not suitable after moving around 150m either side from the entrance to platform 1. Platform 2 is totally dark, along with the Foot Over-Bridge. Shelter is also present only for a small portion on platform 1 and on a very small portion on platform 2 (negligible).
