Train: 12503/12504 Humsafar Express running in between Agartala & Bengaluru City Junction
This is most probably the Longest Train in Indian Railway taking about 65 hours travel time to cover the Huge Distance of more than 3000 Kilometers. It is undoubtedly a very good step to connect our neighboring state Tripura with Bangalore , the IT hub of India. Recently seen that this particular train is made twice in a week from both ends. But some problems may happen in continuing this particular train service
**** Inordinate Delays as the...
more... distance is huge & cover many railways due to huge traffic
**** Cancellation of service due to late arrivals & departures of rakes
Rather railways should find out any bypass route which will lessen the huge distance of this train to some extent and also try to run this train in Electric Loco WAP-7 in the electrified tractions enroute rather than any other Electric or Diesel Loco in the electrified sections so that the average speed of this particular train can be increased to a considerable extent in the electrified sections.
