No chance. But you can try in some of the specialsthat CR run every year. Just keep following twitter handle of CR to know the updates and book as fast as possible, when they are introduced.
That time their is no guarantee of special running on time because I have witnessed for last 3 to 4 years that my ontime running JS overtaking special at Roha which r departed 3 to 4 hours prior to departure of JS
A spl train will indeed get less preference. But if you want a seat and can tolerate some amount of delay, then you can look upto them.
