please wait...Translate to EnglishThe Shram Shakti Express is like a boss train of Indian Railways that zooms between Kanpur and New Delhi without any pit stops overnight. It's the king of North Central Railway with 24 carriages. Covering 440 km in just over 6 hours at night, it gets more love than Kanpur Shatabdi express because it's all about that routing priority. Two sets of this beast: One kicks off at New Delhi at 11:55 PM on Platform 12, while the other starts at Kanpur Central at the same time but on Platform 1. One of these bad boys got the pimped-out LHB treatment on March 18, 2018, while the other is still rolling outdated ICF style. But no matter what, it's a blazing fast overnight ride from NDLS to CNB. Latest scoop: One set is LHB with 22 carriages, and the other one is ICF rocking 24 carriages. In the ICF one, S10 is sandwiched between S9 and a general coach, with an extra general coach for good measure. They don't share rakes with anyone - each of the two sets has its own dedicated set of wheels. The LHB set has 22 carriages, while the ICF one got 24.
