problem is shanti has RSA with indb udaipur which does not have that much demand so that's why change in composition is not thought of. If they delink it then as you say better option is to make shanti 24 coaches and extend the same to VRL this way it would have been daily connectivity

6-7 buses amounts to 300 pax, it can easily be addressed by augumenting 2-3 extra coaches!
The Indore - udaipur train doesn't have much demand as you say... So the additional coaches will travel instead of being in the yard!!! The cost of running an additional train is much higher!!!
I doubt much about its patronage. Traveled in Shanti (INDB GNC) once. I remember getting reservation in that was much more easier than JBP SMNH, moreover that being the winter vacation season.
Further as per the TT, Shanti will just trail it all the way from INDB to ADI. Wonder what kind of TT has IR come up with. If being introduced, they could at least have a better TT.
