yeah ....i thought it got MEMU direct from ICF...but was told that it was running with DEMU and then got MEMU quite recently ...so yeah it got all the three forms ..ICF,DEMU and a MEMU now :D

Provision of Toilet Facilities in DEMU and MEMU Coaches

per the present policy guidelines, toilet facilities are to be provided in Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU)/Mainline electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) trains having journey time of more than two hours. Production of new DEMU and MEMU coaches with toilet facilities has already commended since 2009-10.
DEMU and MEMU coaches, which have been manufactured prior to 2009-10, do not have toilet facilities as there was no such policy for provision of toilets on these coaches.
Presently there is no plan for retrofitment of toilets in DEMU/MEMU coaches manufactured prior to 2009-10 as the same involves major modification in the coach structure.
This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
