ssa-ldh jhl tk 164 kms e-loco. ya jhl-re tk kisi guds train ko. minimum ek eloco mile toh fuel charge me kmi ayegi.
Bhai sochna and krne me difference hai.... ek to practically bhi complex hoga and efficient bhi nhi hai...aisa nhi hota ki aap kahin bhi loco change kr lo...
Jis loco ko change kroge uska kya kroge ....jo eloco khda hoga wo idle time me kya krega.... there are lots of factors.Many train run more than 300 km even if they have Electrified Section but lack of end to end electrified connectivity !

Apki baat sahi h bhai. Agar railway planning ni kregi toh engine to ndls me bahut se idle pade huye h. Bahut bar dekha h guds train ko terminate/rest station k outer pe 3-4 hours tk khada krk fuel waste krte h. Thoda mehnat kre toh exp train ko outer pe rok guds train yard me laye/ jo bi fuel waste bchegi alp & lp ka overtime bachega.
Bhai me wahi kah rha hun...it seems possible on papers but practically not!
