A Poll regarding Congestion in SBC.
Can pit lines be developed at HSRA so that some trains from Tamil Nadu/ Kerala to Bangalore (Existing) could be terminated there and also SBC BNC BAND YPR can be relieved from huge load?

Partly inefficiency, but mostly layout related issues. PF-8,9,10 cant be used by trains coming from BNC side and the rest cant be used by trains coming from YPR effectively congesting the existing available platforms for each direction. Also, important to note is that SBC although does not have "Suburban" traffic per se, has quite a decent amount of passengers originating which are not yet DEMU/MEMU thereby increasing occupancy for reversal etc.

Also Finally, comparing it with many stations which are way busier but "handle" congestion well, SBC has way too many

originating and terminating trains than many wayside busy junctions thereby leading to higher PF occupancy times and making incoming trains wait quite a bit at KGI or BNC side.

Haha it wasn't meant to be a counter to your screen name sir, i have lived in ramavarappadu, vijayawada from 2014 till last year myself and know how busy it is. I was talking in general about busy junctions vs bangalore where there's more originating/terminating traffic. Apologies if it sounded like i was speaking specifically about BZA. Yeah let's leave it here.

Yelahanka junction can be used as terminal and there is a vacant railway land for pitlines many trains can start from this station and is well connected with bmtc facility

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
