1) Jorawarnagar (JVN) (Gujarat) - Was junction point on the Surendranagar-Botad line. A Narrow gauge line branched off to Sayla from here. The NG line is now abandoned.
2) Morappur (MAP) (Tamil Nadu) - This is a station on the MAS-CBE BG mainline. A Narrow gauge line branched off from here to Dharmapuri and Hosur. The NG line was abandoned in 1941. The section between Dharmapuri and Hosur was restarted on MG (later converted to BG) but the alignment between Morappur and Dharmapuri was abandoned.
3) Tirupattur (TPT) (Tamil Nadu) - This is...
more... a station on the MAS-CBE BG mainline. A Narrow gauge line branched off from here to Krishnagiri. The NG line was abandoned in 1941.
4) Tiruchendur (TCN) (Tamil Nadu) - This is a terminus station on BG now. Earlier this station was on the MG, and between 1920-1940, it was a MG-NG junction with a NG tram line to Kulasekarapatnam. The NG tram line was abandoned in the 1940's.
5) Tarikere (TKE) (Karnataka) - Currently this is a station on the BG route between Bangalore (SBC) and Talguppa. Earlier, it was on the MG and there was a narrow gauge (2'0") line to Narasimharajapura. The NG line is now abandoned, having been submerged by the Bhadravati reservoir.
6) Bhadravathi (BDVT) (Karnataka) - Currently this is a station on the BG route between Bangalore (SBC) and Talguppa. Earlier, it was on the MG and there was a narrow gauge (2'0") line to Tadasa and Hebbe. The NG line is now abandoned, having been submerged by the Bhadravati reservoir. This NG line used to meet the Tarikere-Narasimharajapura NG line at Tadasa. There was a bridge over the river there, the ruins of which are still visible when the reservoir has low water levels.
7) Dehri-on-Sone (DOS) (Bihar) - Was a junction point for the Gaya-MGS BG mainline and the Dehri-Rohtas Narrow gauge line. The NG line closed in 1984.
8) Sevoke (SVQ) (West Bengal) - Was a junction point for the MG route from Siliguri to Alipur Duar and the NG line to Rangpo (Sikkim). The NG line was washed out in 1950 during a flood and was abandoned later. Now the line is being constructed again on the BG and Sevoke will be a junction in the future.
9) Hasimara (HSA) (West Bengal) - Was a junction point of the MG Gitaldaha-Dalsingpara line and the MG Assam link from Siliguri to Alipur Duar. Shortly after the Assam link was connected at Hasimara, the section between Hasimara and Dalsingpara was abandoned.
10) Raja Bhat Khawa (RVK) (West Bengal) - Junction point on the MG Alipur Duar- Siliguri main line for a branch line to Jayanti. After the opening of the Buxa Toger reserve, the branch line was abandoned and the mainline was converted to BG.
