No PF constraints at this time at CAN?
TCR-CAN-SRR passenger occupies PF 1A or sometimes in PF2 sharing with SBC-CAN Exp
ERS-CAN ICE at PF 3. Some times noticed CAN-ERS ICE at PF 1.
PF 1 and 3 normally keeps vacant, for Eranad/CBE ICE. Also there are some weekly some days.

:) 16511 SBC-CAN Exp cannot enter CAN by 9:00 so delayed by an hour and overtaken by Egmore and Ernad as per new TT. How they are going to manage this?
16517 now rests in PF2. May be need to move to loop and TCR-CAN should receive in PF two and to be moved to PF 1A. (PF1A-loco reversal not possible as it is terminus line)

Few months ago during a meeting with the MP's the SR GM had apparently stated that existing lines are saturated and unless doubling happens and infra improves, no new trains can be started. Today ironically not one but 2 new trains are proposed to be started after requests probably from some MP's, and both of them running in kerala in peak times in single line stretches !!!!!
So ultimately anything can be possible with political will and pressure and all talk about saturation, congestion etc goes for a toss

with political pressure they can do anything. But in the end other trains run will be affected. And in next TT, speed down will happen. With palaruvi, venad's run is affected. Similarly, if Shatabdi comes, it might be overtaking Venad, Palaruvi, SBC ICE, Ernad, MAQ FP on run towards Kannur. And in this process, the above mentioned trains will get delayed more and then eventually in next TT, these trains will be slowed down.
