It is an imaginary train, so dont worry too much. But the fact is your train is reaching Mangalore faster than 22654 and 22656. See Konkan Railway is a single non-electrified line which means (a) average speed is less, (b) you have to consider overtakings and crossings. There are freight and RO-RO trains on this route to complicate matters. There is the added factor of a monsoon TT for a good four months a year. That is why, I suggested you follow the timings of 22654 and 22656 on another day. Dont get into all these technicalities unless you want too. It may not be worth the effort
