I had the opertunity to travel in 12051 train on the October 5th, 2011 from CSTM to Thivim. The tickets were booked close to 3 months in advance. Due to a problem in my kind of seat, I booked 2 more sets of ticjkets and finally arrived at my convinient seats. My seat numbers were 4 and 5 just beside the door. Ther was no seat number 3, hence I along with my wife and a pure conmfort and privacy as well.
As the train started from CSTM at 5.10Am, it was very cold. Maximum of the passengers were Bengali so it was feeling like home or like travelling in a train within Bengal. The morning breakfast was served just as...
more... the train left Panvel. Soon after that the ghat section arrived and a series of long tunnels and bridges came up in the scenery. Apart from the usual stops the train was on time. By the time it was noon we had crossed Ratnagiri and was heading towards Goa state. Due to the fact of the single line, the train had to stop irratically at staions like Ajani for close to 20 odd mins, the journey was quite smooth.
It was close to 4pm when we detrained at Thivim station and bade good bye to the train.
