Suresh Prabhu is a great Railway Minister , the work done by railways got a great speed & massive pace of improvement in all sector of track building, electrification , etc. The Speed was as such never noted in IR history.

Works on routes that was stopped from many year got going.
The Railways in India was just starting to Evolve with a whole transformation to LHB's. The station got more cleaner and RR at many station. There was a transperacy in its work.
Daily some great news was heard, new in IR.
The "Flexible Fare" system was one and only thing that he has done wrong, that is giving loss to IR. The Tejas & HS are with much flop ,vacant seats.
The bunch of accidents that occurred that was a mishap but not fully his fault. It was a failure from the local Railway board at that place. The higher authority there should resign and not him.
If he resigns then the IR will be back on the old speed of NG passengers ,the rate of development will decrease exponentially.

- After many years we got a new train by name Anandwan Exp & Tadoba Exp.
- Electrification in G-BPQ , in which G-NAB done train will run on E-loco from 25th August.
- New routes such as Wadsa-Gadchiroli, Gadchandur-Adilabad, Ghugus-Tadali .
- The work of NGP-WR-YTL-NED has got pace.
- The third line SEGM-BPQ and Third & Fourth line NGP-SEGM is in great pace.
