Too much concentration of power in a little number of irresponsible hands will eventually lead to the destruction of the purpose and faith of the people in India Rail Info, a site used by thousands and thousands of railfans and also common people. I sincerely hope that the site operators/moderator bring about some changes in the power structure in this site so that people can be more open and free and that these positions should be awarded on the basis of credibility and not only no. of ratings/blog posts etc. Admins/FMs do whatever they want without thinking about the consequences or feelings of a number of various members, like just today an active blog discussing a particular member's trip got derailed due to archiving of the blog entry by a single FM (Whom I don't blame for doing so, since he is following the rules). the mouth of the majority of the members who were all of the same opinion by a single person. The power vested in the various site monitors has to be reduced now so that IRI becomes a truly open discussion forum. I hope that in the future, golden days of IRI return to it. My sincere request to the people responsible for the site would be to introduce a rational system where in the rights of every member can be protected and also that the level of discussions in IRI can be maintained.
