I had to return to ndls on 19th June. I searched for train tkts from dhn. 12301 had the availability of 3 but the price was 2465/-. So thought of flight. But for that I had go to rnc or koaa. The go air flight from rnc to ndls showed 2390/- with a cash back of 600. I made the booking without a second thought and it costed me 1790/- only. I had to travel to rnc in 13351...
more... but still from there it was a nice and comfortable journey.
The meaning is quite clear.
A passenger who travels in 3A makes a shift towards 2A and then to 1A. But now the scenario is that instead of shifting to higher classes people are opting for LCC airline.
One more suggestion to RM
If trains are running vacant then instead of giving 10%discount they should remove that surge pricing and tkts should be sold at original price. May be this would boost the last minute booking
