* Most hitech and advanced coaches are proposed to be built in the new coach factory to come up near Kanchrapara (Kolkata) under PPP, which shall have the following advanced features
(1) Train sets with inbuilt loco instesd of separate Loco & coaches.
(2) equipped with electric propulsion system with power generation capability

(4) fully made of stainless steel - (Aluminium construction is lightest)
(5) automatic door closing facilities
(6) fully air-conditioned
(7) modified to increase passenger carrying capacity- (ACDD coaches are a strong possibility)
(8) CCTV cameras and LED lighting
* Most important aspect which has not been touched upon is the speed potential of the train sets. It appears to be Semi High Speed train 200-250kmph.
* Duplex TGV trains (manufactured Alstom) are the best and fastest ACDD trains and Alstom is already in the race for the project.
