Station is clean.
WiFi is available by RailWire. Lifts and Escalators have been operationalised.
Lodging facilities are good nearby the station. Also there are fairly good restaurants offering reasonable prices for...
more... food, just outside the station.
Places to visit in and around Aurangabad.
1. Bibi-ka-Maqbara-- A mausolem built for Aurangzeb's wife by her son.(12 km from Railway station)
2. Daulatabad Fort-- An archaeological site also known as Devagiri Fort, once a capital shifted by Mohd. Tughlaq.(30 km from station)
3. Ellora Caves-- a world heritage site consisting of caves and temples. It is around 38 km from Aurangabad and on the same route to Daulatabad. Hence can be covered in a single day alongwith Daulatabad. For Hindu pilgrims, Temple of Ghrishneshwara(one of the 12 jyotirlingas) is in the vicinity of Ellora caves.
4. Ajanta Caves-- Again a world heritage site consisting of cave paintings and stone carved idols. Near about 110km from aurangabad. I would advise to make a separate trip to it. Ajanta is also nearby Jalgaon Jn.
Tourist guidance centre is available on PF no 1 itself.
