Antyodaya is the only premium fare branded train introduced by IR which is bound to give heavy losses even on 100% occupancy! Where as HS, Tejas, UDAY, Gatimaan, Mahanmana are set to give profits on 100% occupancy. It is just because all of its paxs belong to heavily subsidised class!

* Introduction of ac coaches shall drastically improve the revenue generation, & make the Antyoday train profitable.
* improved/ upgraded LHB coaches and 10-15% extra fare above express train fares like current fare of Antyoday should be retained without any provision flexi fares.
* Rajdhani type speed and priority so that they are amongst fastest on the route. People shall readily pay 15% premium for speed and better facilities/ aesthetics.
* Success of these trains with high patronage and decent profits is almost guaranteed if operated on proper routes and time slots, as paxs of all the classes shall have the option to avail this train

Above was a practical solution in current circumstances,
However, the best option should be to study and construct a new type of Jan-ACIII LHB SG coaches with same layout as SL coaches (80 berths per coach) and competitively price them at 1.5-1.8 times the SL class and run Antyoday with 22 coaches on long routes with following type of coaches:
