I think you missed a BIG spot here. It is NR Rake train but ALONE NR cannot decide for the stops or Terminating stations. In India , when ever a Train is started , 3 People are the Sole authorities to decide for any train's Route , halts and Timings.:
1. Railway Board.
2. Originating Station/Zone.
3. Terminating station/Zone.

more... ONLY blaming the NR for the "Unnecessary HYPED UP" condition of BSP rajdhani is Wrong. ICF days are Way gone now and BSP rajdhani have dedicated rake Now. If BSP (SECR) and NGP demands for short-termination at NZM , then surely NR will do it , just like ALL other SAME SLOT trains are doing. Its all clear shot selfish attitude and "Self-Convenience" show up done by BSP and NGP.
Now its been nearly 15 years since this train have started , But Till now NOBODY in SECR BSP have ever cared to ask RB and NR to short terminate this at NZM. If so much problem is arising by going to NDLS , then WHY BSP SECR IS SILENT FROM PAST 15 YEARS REGARDING SHORT TERMINATION ?
