No. In the MG era there were platforms 1 & 2 served as MG and 3, 4, 5 served as BG. Now after gauge conversion platform no.1 is converted into BG. No.2 is removed and a through line will be laid there so that goods train coming from Tihi (Pithampur) can pass. Old BG platforms 3, 4, and 5 are closed for 15 days right now so that their curves would be straightened to accommodate 24 coach trains. After this platform no.3 would become 2, 4 would become 3 and 5 would become 4. And therefore the newly constructed island platforms are already given no. 5 & 6
