Actually Bengaluru has a very good rail connectivity covering the whole city, but instead of developing it and running some suburban trains they are going for Metro and this LRTS which is costly, ofcourse Metro will be helpful for the areas not connected by rail. We have a rail track running very near the International Airport, but the Govt wants to construct a Metro for 30 odd kilometres spending crores of rupees.
