most awaited thing is doubling and electrification from wadi to daund because of this single BG track the average speed is around 55kmph and thereby Hyderabad bound and Chennai bound trains are forced to travel by diesel locos at slower speed.
important point is that it connects Mumbai to Hyderabad, Mumbai to Chennai by shortest route.
