when the train staff/controller updates NTES as the time of departure. It has nothing to do with actual time of departure :)

1. When last Coach clears Signal & it get red...the crossing updated!! Else it will keep on flashing lat station DEP Status!!
2. Train arrived simply whn it gets halted..that schedule..DEP is whn Rake move out of Signal!! Even if chain get pulled & train remained jammed & if the train do hav stoppage..its late DEP gets update...while if train dnt hav stoppage, its last station DEP remained flashed till it finally clears next signal!! For clearance, as stoppage gets scheduled technically, its updated instantly!!

Then how does departed status get updated and changed to different timing later on as per NTES?

The update is based on inputs as received frm station, whch gets automatic updated in system!! Dunno mch abt it bt its like microphone enabled info at each station whch get fed in NTES (IR has it since ages including Freight, just NTES feed started recently)
As its input frm station, whch smetimes tend to b incorrect whch gets corrected the moment correct updated..it only hppns whn congested scene happens & quite in negligible counts!!
