‘Allotment of available Electric locos to different Electric Loco Sheds is done duly taking into consideration the requirements of all Zonal Railways. Allotment of WAP-7 locos to Electric Loco Shed/TATA shall be considered in due course of time on need basis.

Respected Sir,
With reference to the Subject as mentioned I would like to express my happiness to see WAP-7 Locomotive of Sheds like AJNI, Lallaguda and Ghaziabad coming as Offlink now with 12859 CSTM HWH Geetanjali SF Exp and 12261 CSTM HWH AC Duronto Exp.
I would like to convey my thanks to you and the Mechanical Staffs of Central Railway CSTM Division that for the efforts of all of you we the Railfans of South Eastern Zone and these two trains now able to see WAP-7 Locomotives with these two Prestigious trains of HWH CSTM Route. It is an irrefutable fact that without the Honest Effort of you and the Mechanical Staffs of Central Railway CSTM Division we can't be able to see WAP-7 Locomotives with these two Prestigious trains of HWH CSTM Route from CSTM to HWH.
Previously we can't see any WAP-7 with any SER Train in SER Zone. So many thanks to You and the Mechanical Staffs of Central Railway CSTM Division to Present us WAP-7 as an Offlink with these two Prestigious SER Trains.
Now I have the following two requests to you regarding this matter:
A. Kindly send WAP-7 as an Offlink with these two trains(i.e 12859 CSTM HWH Geetanjali SF Exp and 12261 CSTM HWH AC Duronto Exp) as more as possible from CSTM to HWH. Also please ensure that in the UP direction also(i.e HWH to CSTM) both of these trains will get WAP- 7 as Offlink as more time as possible and kindly try to make WAP-7 as a "REGULAR LINK" with both of these trains from APRIL 2016 onwards.
B I have already Lodged a Grievance regarding Non Availability of WAP-7 in SER Vide Registration No: MORLY/E/2015/05305 through PG PORTAL. The Grievance has been closed on 09th July,2015 and SER has replied that"No WAP-7 Loco has been allotted to S.E Railway by Railway Board".
So under the above Circumstances you are humbly requested to make necessary arrangements and help South Eastern Railway to get WAP-7 Locomotive in their TATA Electric Loco Shed which presently homes many WAG-9 and WAG-9H Locomotives for Freight Trains so that in future South Eastern Railway can use their OWN WAP-7 Locomotive of TATA Shed as a "REGULAR LINK" with the above mentioned two Trains.(i.e 12859 CSTM HWH Geetanjali SF Exp and 12261 CSTM HWH AC Duronto Exp).
Your Co-operation in this regard is Solicited.

WR have only one IGBT WAP5. other all WAP5 are GTO equipped.

In locos like 30067, 76, 77, only the auxiliary converters are IGBT. The main traction converters are, still, GTO :(
However, in locos like 30081 and 82, the traction converters too are IGBT based. 30084 and 85 haven't been turned out yet. In 30086 too, the traction converter is IGBT but went to Ghaziabad. 30087, 88, 89 too are GTO locos (auxiliary converters are IGBT though!).
In future, only IGBT locos will be turned out.
