I agree with Arnab but also consider the fact that loco changing is rather inconvenient at MBB. So I shall do a minor correction.
Track electrification has started in KNJ-MBB as also AZ-NJP and of course the 6 km stretch between MBB-AZ. It will complete by the time when this train comes into operation. Hence loco change will take place at NJP. Info updated in this train and its return.
Track electrification has already done in KNJ-MBB strech way back in 2010. now the doubling of track is going on. KNJ-PLY is already doubled & into operation as well. only BPC-MBB strech now is left & will be doubled soon. but the MBB-AZ bridge is single diesel as well as AZ-NFK section. when these works would have been complete , we will see a huge development in terms of rail transport in this section.

AZ-NFK will be electrified in course of time and once track building completes in MLDT-AZ section, it will be electrified(6km track is not very hard to electrify if IR plans to run express trains through that stretch).... Then it is quite convenient to changeover loco at NJP....
If that 6km track between MBB-AZ get electrified (it will be as ER will run express trains through this), then loco change can be done at AZ, later when the electrification is done upto NFK & then upto NJP, loco change would be done at NJP. already , MDLT-NJP section electrification work is going on
