Sanz~ 8512 blog postsIt is a known fact that 12381 suffers massive delays at and around Allahabad at outer (near Prayag) and on platform (as it goes on Pf 5,6,7) and has to wait for Rajdhani gang for crossover.
A suggestion to divert it via (BSB-MUV-ALD) same as that of 12559 Shivganga which hardly loses any time at outer or platform.
Only to improve punctuality (Only Jhanghai would be skipped)

Good idea other senior members can explain d effect of diversion... for ppl of janghai, gayanpur can have d stoppage.
Neither possible more feasible. ALY line already has many trains the fate will be same. Either pull the right ear or pull the left ear both are same things.
at ALY, there are only 11 halting daily trains and 6 passing (non stop trains), not that crowd rest all are weekly/biweekly.
So should not be a problem.
Also the main problem as told on JNH-Prayag- ALD route is corssover time, which can be minimized

Possibly even if we say the line is crowded ok, agreed. (Pic 1: 12381 ALD; Pic 2 : 12559 ALD)
Still have a look at 12559 arrival departure at ALD (arrives/departs after 12381 technically as per TT but never actually.)
Also keeping in mind that both have a loco change from WDM to WAP.
As both have 20 mins to halt plus extra...
