B) Air Conditioner was too cold.
C) because of the above I am sick with throat infection and which has led to fever.
D)...
more... Health issues
Air-conditioning systems in Indian Railways promote growth and spread of microorganisms, such as Legionella pneumophila, the infectious agent responsible for Legionnaires' disease, or thermophilic actinomycetes; however, this is prevalent in poorly maintained water cooling system. The cooling system is not kept clean. (usually by means of a chlorine treatment).
Conversely, air conditioning (including filtration, humidification, cooling and disinfection) is not used to provide a clean, safe, hypoallergenic atmosphere in railway compartments and other environments where an appropriate atmosphere is critical to Passanger's safety and well-being.
Excessive air conditioning has negative effect on skin, drying it out, and has caused dehydration.
E) The train reached Belgavi Railway Station 25 minutes late. I understand that this train is always late.
I will be obliged if any reader can guide me to make Indian Railways implement the clean environment and clean - hygienic air-conditioning system.
Sincerely,
Milind M. Dhume
