stoppages must be reduced ie the following stopages must be deleted for faster movement:-
1.kokrajhar(only 30 mins from new bongaigaon. this stoppage is added abt 4 yrs back)
2. new alipurduar( again 30 mins from new coochbehar. stoppage added about 4 yrs back)
3. chappra ( few passengers and arrives after midnight so avoided by passengers)

this is such because both kokrajhar and new alipurduar has army cantonments.They are very near to indo-bhutan border.Thats why air force base is also there in Alipurduar.
Distance between Ballia & Varanasi is very long.A passenger train takes more than 5 hrs. to reach ballia from varanasi & by road it more than 5 hrs. journey.
