Grievance Description : I am writing this grievance about platform availability at Mau Junction for the trains coming/going towards Azamgarh. As you know that only one platform i.e. No. 4, is connected to the Azamgarh track which ultimately makes trains to wait at the outer for hours. Many times Express trains has to wait for passenger trains to clear the platform. Due to this, train's punctuality goes down as well as fuel wastage and inconvenience for the passengers too. Sometimes ago, work to connect this line to all 4 platforms, started but stopped at halfway due to unknown reason. Does railway have plan for this? Is it going to be as it is for some more years to come?
