train, 09xxx - Madgaon Ahmedabad Special from Kankavli to Panvel. Its timing was 17:45 from Kankavli and 3:30am at Panvel. Train arrived Kankavli 25 mins late at 18:10. It was hauled with WDP3A Our seat was MB and LB. We met our co-passengers and all were Maharashtrains :P and 3 out of 4 were de-boarding the train at Panvel. I have heard from the Local peoples of Kankavli Station that this train is very fast and halts at Ratnagiri, Chiplun and Direct to Panvel. I was Just excited after I entered the Train. Train pulled out of Kankavli Stn soon. Later It arrived Ratnagiri by 19:30, late by 40 mins. It departed Ratnagiri and Arrived Bhoke at 20:00. We were looped here for TWO crossings, 1 Train I remember is Netravati Express. We were now almost late by 2 Hrs so all the co-passengers were expecting to reach Panvel by 5am and by that time Mumbai Locals will also start. The Train departed Bhoke at 21:00 and all the passengers of coupe went for sleep till their destination. I went and slept on Middle Berth.
All were in deep sleep. Father had kept little window open. Lights were coming from Window. Father peeped out of Window and was shocked to see. PANVEL STATION ARRIVED. It was 1:30am. Everybody's sleep broke and all started hurrying taking their luggage towards the door. Almost half the coach got empty at Panvel. It was bad luck for all that after 1am there is no local departing from Panvel. Winter time and almost all were feeling the cold. Had almost 3-4 Cup of tea. Surprising the train was made to wait at Panvel station for 2 hrs till the departure time. It departed Panvel at 3:40am. Finally we boarded the 4:10 CST Local and went to Kurla. Reached Bhandup at 7:00 am. It was just UNFORGETTABLE TRIP
