I visited patna during diwali by 12394 and also came back by 12393 to delhi. I would like to share the journey details. I booked in tatkal for 12394 in 3AC and for the first time found so much rush that even in 3AC one can't go to washroom. (oh but that;s obvious it was a day before diwali and everyone desparate to go home.
However, travelling with SK is always special. coming to the journey part, 12394 started slow and i was surprised that even after dadri it was travelling really slow. Saw that 12310 was also moving slow. But soon 12310 accelerrated and SK 12394 dont know why was disturbed by something on the route. Somehow train managed to reachd...

CNB at 11.55 and surprsingly departed early at 12am.
And train then took speed and crossed allahabad at 2am without stoping. But the run till MGS was slow and train left MGS at 5.15am. As usual, train had a good run from MGS and reached ARA at 07.30am. But then started the real torture as SK was forced to trail behind VS 12368 followed by 12392 Shramjevi and 13008 tofan. it reached patna at 9am. All in all a disappointing run by SK standards and surely no way its running at 130kph.
Now coming to 12393 part, yesterday, it started bang on time with timely run one can say till ALD where it reached at 11.30pm. However it halted at ALD for 5 min. But it overtook 2 trains at ALD 12397 and 12381. It ran at a decent speed but surely the sound from the track was not 130kph. it was a moderate 70-100kph sound which made the journey boring. Adding to it, 12393 was halted at fatehpur for 30 min to give pass to 12309 up pnbe raj an evidence which shows that SK is still running at 110kph.With in and out of window due to sleep from fatehpur, i saw train crossing etawah at 5.15am which made me feel that today it will be late with all rajdhani crosing.
However train maintained a good run crosing tdl at 6.05am and aljn at 7.05am without stopping and at good speed. It continued good run from ALJN till dankaur but then again it halted for 50min roughly to give pass till 12305 hwh raj. Waiting for other to pass but no other passed as they were bit late. so 12393 departed for delhi but then within two stations it was again stopped and made way for 12423 and 12313. I was waiting for bbs rajdhani 22811 but it was 1 hr delayed that helped SK to depart but it reached ndls at 11.30. TE gave wrong entry for SK at 10.55am. I saw that these days TE gave wrong data on SK arrivals at destinations. So i hope the data clearly suggests SK is running now even below 110kph. We need to enquire with RB about their virtual plans to run SK at 130kph which is needed to maintain its aggressive schedule.
