5uperman 195 blog postsWhy not convert this train into a Jan Shatabdi(as was the case earlier)? It would make sense as the patronage wouldn't be too different from what it currently is, has similar composition to 12051/12052, and the rake that sits idle for about 21 hours at MAO during the monsoon TT can be utilised on this route, the only downside being that it'll have to arrive at MAQ at around 11pm and depart at around 5am(It'll still be convenient for passengers between MAO and UD).
Or conversely, 12051/12052 could be converted into an InterCity.

1. Earlier there used to be a MAO MAQ JNS with RSA with 12051/52 which was scrapped due to patronage.
2. The unreserved sitting is the best in this ICE as required while JNS which caters to reserved pax between MAO n DR is a hit in this route...So its d best win win situation possible and it shd nit be touched upon.
