I think politicians and passenger associations should realise how at the cost of adding more and more stops has led to such pathetic speeds from some of the so called superfast trains. Passengers have no other choice but to pay superfast charges depsite some of them having such low speeds. Sample a few examples below.

Regarding 4. It used to reach PGT at 1.30PM as per old TT. Don't know why they made it 2PM. I guess, this train can skip SRR. It is wasting lot of time at SRR
That is correct. That time departure from TVC was probably 5:15 i think and arrival at ekm was 9:30 or thereabouts. I think now the departure has been delayed to give a reasonable gap between Ernad express, Bangalore intercity and janshatabdi (towards clt). Because of it stopping after every 20 minutes, it takes such a long time. Amongst angamali,chalakudi,irinjalakuda,wadakkanchery,ottapalam at least 3 stops can be withdrwan.
Ya between ERS and TCR there are many stops. According to me Angamali not needed. It should be either Chalakudy or Irinjalkuada(if both are removed also its ok). Wadakkanchery and ottapalam not at all needed. Wadakanchey people can travel in Venad to catch rapti and OTP is just 13km from SRR. If it is going to SRR, no need of OTP. If skipping SRR, can keep OTP. Its a SF and is stopping like passenger
