more... Bi-Weekly SUPERFAST Express, which was completing an unscheduled halt for the crossing with our train in the single line section. The Superfast was running excessively before time. Ambalappuzha is situated on SR's single line Kayamkulam- Alappuzha- Ernakulam South section.
The 12997/ 12998 Hapa (HAPA)- Tirunelveli (TEN) Bi-Weekly SUPERFAST, which was inaugurated on March 30, 2010, used the Hapa- Rajkot- Surendranagar- Ahmedabad- Vadodara- Ankleshwar- Surat- Vasai Road- Panvel- Madgaon- Mangalore- Kannaur Main- Kozhikode Main- Shoranur- Thrissur- Ernakulam South- Alappuzha- Kayamkulam- Kollam- Trivandrum Central- Nagercoil Town- Tirunelveli route. The train, who SUPERFAST tag was discontinued from November 1, 2013, now runs with the numbering 19577/ 19578. Yet the train gives the same number of halts (26), same running time (49 hours), and the same timings. It has got rake sharing with 22907/ 22908 Madghaon (MAO)- Hapa (HAPA) Weekly SUPERFAST Express. Belongs to WR.
NETRAVATI uses the LTT- Panvel- Ratnagiri- Madgaon- Karwar- Udipi- Mangalore Central- Kannaur- Kozhikode- Shoranur- Ernakulam South- Allapuzha- Kollam- Trivandrum route of CR/ SCR KR/ SR to cover 1501 kms in 30h 50m with 44 halts enroute.
